OPERATION Backpacks4Ukrainiankids

Hi Everyone!

I have been lucky enough to be included in this mass effort by some other fellow UPS pilots to put together these backpacks for the refugee kids.

 We packed almost 30 backpacks today in a hangar at Bowman Field!!

As I was packing them, I was wondering if my fellow WAI, 99’s and AWAM ladies & men would like to get involved.

 We have 1 member who has already bought several backpacks and a few other items off the list I have attached.  I was hoping to get some more help from my aviation sisters and brothers! If you can help by either buying supplies off the list, backpacks, or just donating your time to stuff all these backpacks, PLEASE let me know!

We are collecting all these supplies in the next couple weeks and then we will be setting a date in April to pack the backpacks at a hangar at Bowman Field.  

There are UPS/FedEx pilots that have volunteered to take them over to Germany where they will be loaded on to a train and sent to where they are needed the most.
