GIAD 2022

It truly takes a village! What an amazing Girls in Aviation day we had today. I can not thank all the volunteers and exhibitors enough for giving up their gorgeous Saturday to spend it with us inspiring young girls and boys to become pilots, mechanics, ATC controllers, aerospace engineers, military personnel and all the other cool aviation careers. Thankful for the ladies who helped me plan this event, the amazing weather, the awesome volunteers and all the smiling faces I saw today attending!! Great job everyone!! Thank you

Final numbers are in and we had approximately 470 people attend. At least 300 kids!! This was our 4th and largest turnout yet. Thank you to everyone who came! Can’t wait for #5 next year!! A huge thanks to the over 80 volunteers and all those who brought planes/helicopters and a simulator(Frequent Flyer Sims) .
